We're looking for Cath Laboratory Technicians to join our Cardiac Cath / Electrophysiology Lab teams at Capital Medical Center in Olympia, WA.

Position Summary
This position is a team member working under the direction of the Program Manager, Cardiac Cath / Electrophysiology Labs to provide quality care that is focused on the comfort and well being of the patient and family. The technologist is responsible for providing technical support during a variety of diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures. This is a technical level position requiring a service-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills for the purpose of delivering care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups. Independent decision-making is expected in the execution of daily routine duties. Decisions regarding patient care or services require the direction and approval of the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Registered Nurses. Internal contacts include patient care staff and management. External contacts include physicians and patients.

Minimum Requirements
Float Pool specific:

  • Greater than or equal to 1 year of experience
  • Valid driver's license

Education/Licenses/Certifications

  • Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification or as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or currently enrolled and in second year of an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist program
  • RCIS or commitment to obtain within 6 months of employment
  • Current AHA, BLS and ACLS CPR certifications at time of hire

Note: All staff have the opportunity and are encouraged to use the Computer Based Cath Lab Orientation 12 week module program as a tool to become registry ready
