North Knoxville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram’s Service Department is looking for a talented individual to be our new Service Support Specialist / Cashier who will assist customer, the Service Advisors and other supporting staff in running the day-to-day business. Responsibilities:
- Process customer payment transactions via credit card, check or cash
- Balances the cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of the work shift.
- Balance money in counter drawers, retrieve the amount of money collected during shift, complete deposit slip and place money in the deposit box.
- Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Coordinate refunds transactions with service manager
- Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.
- Resolves customer issues and answers questions.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Receive telephone calls and handle customer-related issues; direct other phone calls to appropriate personnel or take messages.
- Provides pricing information by answering questions.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Complete, review and submit various reports to the supervisor.
- Submit warranty oil changes for payment, attach payment to repair order. a) log all warranty repair orders on the warranty repair order log.
- Check-outs and Greets customers on Saturdays when they come to pick-up or drop-off.
BDC:
- Provide backup support to the BDC in between the above tasks in order to maintain the highest customer satisfaction.
Rental:
-Provide backup support to the Rental Clerk in between the above tasks as needed to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Hours: Mon 7:30-5:00, Off Tuesday, Wed-Friday 7:30-5:00, Saturday 8:00-3:00
Service Support Specialist Provide clerical and secretarial assistance to the service department and complete Additional duties or tasks as requested by management. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident. Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
