What we are looking for

NextCare Urgent Care is looking for a Cash Application Poster to be a part of our Urgent Care Team!


Location

To join their Billing team in Tempe, AZ. This position can be Remote - Work at Home for candidates in Maricopa and Pinal County, Arizona ONLY. No other locations can be considered.


Responsibilities

The Cash Application Poster is responsible for posting of all insurance and patient payments on a daily basis. This position will also help in the reprocessing of claims due to denials posted while applying insurance payments.


How you will make an impact

The Cash Application Poster supports the organization with posting monies to patient accounts on a daily basis, posting denials to patient accounts for tracking purposes, posting contractual adjustments to patient accounts and transfer deductibles to patient responsibility, organizing refund requests from insurance companies with required documentation and assisting with claim resubmission projects when necessary.


Essential Education, Experience and Skills:

Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of two years medical payment and adjustment posting experience. Experience with Managed Care contracts, Medicare and AHCCCS.

Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft EXCEL spreadsheets


Valued But Not Required Education, Experience and Skills:

Experience: Medical collections experience; NextGen software experience
