Marine Construction Carpenter
Pay- $22-$24 with a $1 raise after 90 days
Location: Tampa, FL
Marine Experience is NOT required
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Marine Construction Carpenter to join our team. The succesful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures and facilities in a marine environment. This may include building and repaing docks, seawalls, piers, and other marine infrastucture.
Key Responsiblities:
- Make accurate cuts of wood and other materials using table and chop saws and other related power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Build and repair marine structures such as docks, seawall, and piers
- Work with a variety of materials, including wood, steel and vinyl
- Ability to lift 50 lb or over and can work outside, in and around water
- Must have reliable transportation
- Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor condidtions
- Must pass pre-employment drug and background check
- Clean driving record- may be required to drive company truck
