We are seeking a Business Development Specialist. This position will generate qualified leads for the sales team and set up needs analysis meetings by reaching out to potential clients by phone. The Business Development Specialist should be able to quickly qualify a prospect and convert into potential meetings. Will execute many outbound calls per day to secure meetings. Some minimal travel may be necessary.
Primary Responsibilities of the Role:
- Regular prospect engagement via phone or in person as needed
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound contact.
- Meet or exceed targets related to activities, sales opportunities resulting in a meeting and customer acquisition.
- Become a subject matter expert on our business products and remain up to date on industry news.
- Utilize reporting system, aggregated data and CRM tools to aid in tracking and managing prospect base.
- Ability to quickly identify prospect needs and suggest appropriate products/solutions.
- Research accounts to identify key contacts and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within assigned business segment
- Adhere to all quality standards and processes
- Provide regular feedback to management about the market and competitor activity.
Requirements:
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Experience with Digital Marketing and leveraging data and insights to help clients succeed.
- Strong phone presence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Able to assess a problem or situation using effective logic
- Proactively seeks new business opportunities in the market.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

The following compensation information is a good faith estimate and is provided in accordance with applicable state laws. The base salary generally ranges between $17.90/hour - $26.82/hour + commission. This range is an estimate based on an applicant’s skills, experience, and training.
