DirectViz Solutions, LLC. is a high-level, strategic consulting services firm that meets mission IT needs for government clients. We are hiring a Business Architect. The position is remote, due to the pandemic. There might be occasional onsite or office meetings.

The work location is Washington, DC. This position requires a Public Trust investigation.

Business Architect

Responsibilities and Experience:

• Possess experience with
  • periodic assessments of the application portfolio
  • Business Process Management documentation including the Agile, SDLC handbook
  • QA Software Tool Validation and Oversight
  • software/data movement among development/test/training/production environments
  • maintaining application requirements, currently documented as user stories in JIRA
  • managing project requirements throughout the software development life cycle
  • Application Rationalization and Business Process Management (BPM)
  • Software Quality Assurance (QA):
  • Implementing and maintaining policies, procedures, and processes for QA
  • Overseeing process for:

• Support the performance of configuration audits and CM plans for new systems and update CM Plans for existing systems
• Support Operational Planning and Development efforts, including performance management and metrics tracking, as well as IT Roadmap development
• Provide subject matter expertise for IT Service Management (ITSM) Governance, processes, and policies
• Perform IT Policy analyses, including conducting research on best practices, Federal requirements, and reference policies of other Agencies
• Support Vendor Portfolio Assessments and analyze Service Level Agreement Reports
• Support cybersecurity and privacy related strategy, artifact development, and reviews
• Develop IT Inventory Baseline, including assessing the current state of the IT infrastructure footprint and utilization and informing future acquisitions of IT assets and reuse of existing resources

Requirements:

• Education: BA/BS degree
• Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years
• Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust
• Prior experience as a solution architect and/or business architect in a consultant role advising CIO and executive clients is critical to success in this position.
• Having a PMP with experience working in a PMO is a plus.
