Position Description

JOB SUMMARY

Lead analytical function of the corporate strategy department to actively support the organization’s integrated strategic and financial planning process (ISFP), including strategy development, implementation, and monitoring for the organization.


This is a remote position, which can be home-based anywhere in the U.S.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

This position actively supports the Corporate Strategy team, and responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and update enterprise scorecard, interacting with key stakeholders to provide data and data definitions
  • Monitor monthly and quarterly metrics to identify issues and trends
  • Conduct external assessments, research competitors, trends, innovations and communicate the significance of strategic insights to strategy leaders and other key stakeholders
  • Develop business cases and analytical modeling for the purposes of exploring strategic options
  • Develop senior-level presentations
  • Provide strategic analytical support to business leaders
  • Actively participate in department and cross-functional strategy meetings
  • Team-player, contributing to help team solve problems as needed


Position Requirements

FORMAL KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field required
  • Minimum 2 years of analytical experience required
  • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint experience required
  • Experience in healthcare or non-profit preferred

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

  • Strong Excel skills and ability to interpret and make decisions from data; ability to predict and request necessary data for decision making
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau, and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

SPECIAL MENTAL OR PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment
  • No or very limited physical effort required
  • No or very limited exposure to physical risk
  • Periodic travel for team meetings
The expected starting rate is $60,000 - $75,000. The final candidate’s relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
