Provides safe transportation for Head Start/Early Head Start Program children being transported to/from the Head Start/Early Head Start centers.
· Ensures Head Start/Early Head Start Program children are safely driven to/from the Head Start/Early Head Start centers each time.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and prior related experience. Must have a good driving record with zero points while possessing a Class B CDL driver license with P and S endorsements, have and maintain valid First Aid and CPR Certification, pass a criminal background investigation and pre-employment drug/alcohol test and medical examination and attend DHR orientation. Must also relate well to pre-school children and adults, have emotional maturity and stability, calmness and good judgment during crisis situations and highly dependable.
