East West Hospitality has a new opening for a full time year round Building Maintenance Technician at Old Greenwood in Truckee, CA responsible for all engineering tasks for the EWH rental/homecare programs and whole ownership HOA’s. Fill in for Old Greenwood SOA’s as needed.

Residential Property Management

Inspect and maintain Homes on the Rental/Homecare Programs.
Clearly communicate with owners as needed.
Provide hands on troubleshooting for the repair of all residence issues.
Schedule vendors for work that is outside the EWH scope of ability.
Schedule & Perform annual preventive maintenance inspections and work on individual units on our programs.
Fulfill guest and owner requests for work documenting any work accomplished.
Verify all work completed by maintenance staff is of highest quality.
Parts acquisition
Constant communication with Owner Services Managers to provide owners with clear information of work done in the residences.

Homeowner Association Management

Work on assigned projects as approved by the HOA from initiation through completion utilizing internal staff as well as outside contracted services.
Provide input and assistance on quarterly board meeting maintenance reports.
Develop, perform, & assign preventive maintenance checklists on association equipment.

HOA Common Area Maintenance - Repair, maintain, repaint, furnish or refurnish common areas per the reserves. Old Greenwood Master Association, Old Greenwood Townhomes Association, Villas at Old Greenwood, Fairway Townhomes Association
Gray’s Crossing Master Association
Coldstream Master Association
Future added whole ownership associations

Shared Ownership Association

Provide support to the SOA team as needed
Provide supervision of the team in absence of the SOA supervisor – weekends.

Administration

Participate in the on-call maintenance program.

Budget

Review departmental & association budgets and provide input to the director and manager.

Communication

In collaboration with engineering manager and director, participate in a weekly meeting to inform entire team of the week’s expectations.

OTHER DUTIES:

Additional duties and special projects as requested and or assigned.

Because of the fluctuating demands of the operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, employees will be expected to help others when the occasion arises. Accordingly, employees may be expected to perform other tasks not specifically addressed above.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Promote at all times a cooperative and problem solving atmosphere. Conduct all business in a professional and courteous manner.

Previous maintenance experience is required. Must have strong leadership skills. Must be computer literate. Candidate must possess a willingness to train technicians as needed to improve the departments overall capabilities. Must be able to work well under pressure and be self-motivated. Must have excellent organizational skills in order to assist in documenting equipment, and establishing a Preventative Maintenance schedule. Must have a valid driver’s license as well as be able to work weekends, and holidays.

$22-$26, DOE
