Coconut Bowls;
We are very happy to have partnered with a sustainable farm in Taiwan to provide us with our fantastic 100% biodegradable coconut bowls and spoons. The process begins by harvesting the coconuts; once harvested they ‘de-husk’ the coconut and convert the husk into a powder to be used for building purposes. They then shave the top quarter of the coconut off, pour the juice and scrape the meat for the farmers to eat. The top of the coconut that had been shaved off is then molded into a spoon to pair each single bowl. Lastly they coat the finished coconuts with a natural lacer to ensure no leakage + make it dishwasher safe. We hope to bring awareness and excitement to sustainable utensils that come from natural goods!
