Team member needed in a trainee position for printing and/or bindery equipment.
A bindery operator is a skilled tradesperson who works in a printing or publishing company, typically in the bindery department. The bindery department is responsible for finishing printed materials, such as books, brochures, and magazines, by cutting, folding, and binding them. A bindery operator may be responsible for operating a variety of machines, such as cutters, folders, stitchers, and binderies.

Attention to detail: Bindery operators need to be precise and accurate in their work, as even small mistakes can result in defective products.
Physical strength and dexterity: Bindery operators will need to be able to lift 60LB and also be able to handle small parts and tools and may also need to be able to stand for long periods of time .
Mechanical aptitude: Bindery operators often work with complex machinery, and they need to be able to troubleshoot and repair problems that may arise.
Ability to follow instructions: Bindery workers need to be able to follow the instructions of the bindery operator and follow established procedures to complete tasks accurately.
Basic math skills: Bindery operators may need to calculate measurements and make basic calculations related to the materials they are working with.
Good communication skills: Bindery operators may need to work with coworkers and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed accurately and on time.
