ABOUT DESIGN HOUSE:
Serving families as their trusted jeweler for diamonds, beautiful fine jewelry, custom designs, expert jewelry repairs, one-on-one styling, and gifts for every occasion, Design House is an award-winning (JCK Designer Retailer, InStore Design Awards and just designated "Men and Women to Watch" by Modern Texas Living) woman owned producer and retailer of fine jewelry. We are growing and are looking for creative people to join our team. We are passionate and dedicated to excel at what we do and have some fun while doing it! Having just finished our beautiful new studio in the bustling Silo District in Downtown Waco, we are so proud of our 18 year journey and eager to share our story with our customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Diamond and gemstone setting, prongs, bead, pavé, channel and bezel setting
- Jewelry Intake
- Ring sizing
- Chain + Clasp Repair
- Re-shanking
- Re-tipping
- Sketching + Design
- Wax carving
- CAD Design
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of bench jeweler experience required.
- Laser welding experience is a strong plus.
- High comfort level identifying and setting precious colored stones.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Maintain high level of productivity and self-direction.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Able to pass a background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
