Job Summary

Base area employees are responsible for organization and cleanliness of parking lots, grounds, facilities and event set-up/tear-down management.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist in parking all incoming cars in an organized and efficient manner
• Keep lots free of trash and safety cones organized
• Follow all opening/closing procedures as applicable to shift
• Maintain positive interaction with guests
• Remain informed on area information, operating schedule, and special events to increase guest satisfaction
• Assist with daily set-up/tear-down in Base Area and parking lots
• Work closely with Operations Manager to assist with maintenance, special events and projects

Secondary Job Functions

• Perform duties in other areas of the Adventure Park as needed
• Cooperate with all other departments
• Remove garbage around the area, monitor bathrooms for cleanliness, and help with watering lawns
• Monitor parking lot for alcohol use, marijuana use, cars with lights left on, etc.
• Understanding and cooperation of company customer service guidelines
• Potential operation of passenger shuttles during peak times dependent on driving record and status of insurance eligibility

Other Job Requirements

• Must be able to deal with high volumes of people in a friendly and courteous manner
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to work well with others in a team environment
• Must be willing to adhere to the appearance code of the department
• Must be reliable
• Must be able to work Holidays and Weekends
• Must be able to stand entire shift
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Must be able to work independently under limited supervision
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (CDL preferred)
