Job Description
Job Summary:
This is a great opportunity to launch your career in auto parts. Stocking shelves, unpacking orders, tracking inventory, etc. will help you learn the business from the ground floor and upward.
Responsibilities:
- Help parts staff receive orders and move them to stocking shelves.
- Pack parts that need to be shipped.
- Help prepare parts for delivery.
- Hand carry parts from parts department to technician bays.
- Help keep the parts department clean and orderly.
- Confirm parts stock levels as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and prior auto parts sales experience (preferred)
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- A team-player eager to improve in a dynamic work environment.
- Some work experience in a retail store or a warehouse environment.
- Able to lift 30-50 pounds without struggle or injury.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Basic computer skills.
- Grasp for how part numbers are researched and cataloged.
