Position Overview:
As a Customer Relations/Rental Agent, you are responsible for renting out the company's vehicles to service customers or walk-in customers. As well as performing basic checks on vehicles upon return. You'll also assist the service team with additional duties as they are tasked to you.
Pay range is based on experience and qualifications: $17.00 Per Hour

Essential Functions:

• Note any damage on the vehicle to the Service Manager before moving
• Maintain a professional and consistent appearance, which includes the stand uniform and name tag
• Follow the work schedule provided by management
• Maintain a positive attitude and thank each customer for their business
• A positive last impression to every customer regarding their overall service experience at the dealership
• Help expedite the car rental process so customers can get to their destination quickly and easily
• Assist customers to their rental vehicle and explain features so they are comfortable with the vehicle before exiting the location
• Secure vehicle keys from the customer upon return and confirm necessary documentation and checks are performed as needed
• Ensure the car is ready for the next customer by inspecting and recording for new damages and checking gas levels and mileage

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Able to operate both an automatic and manual transmission (preferred)
• Valid Driver's License and favorable motor vehicle record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Basic computer skills (typing, data entry, etc)
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and outstanding communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management
