Title: Assistant Warehouse Manager Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Position Hours: Full Time, Second Shift FLSA: Exempt
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for timely and accurate receipt and shipping of product.
Position Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain own second shift team.
- Coordinate activities through the planning and collaboration with other departmental managers to ensure accurate and complete customer orders are loaded.
- Establish and monitor overall warehouse and shipping performance based on customer demands and standards.
- Control & minimize labor overtime.
- Maintain existing warehouse/shipping facilities and equipment.
- Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
- Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.
- Provides direction, development, and leadership to his supervisors.
- Ensure everyone has proper training to operate equipment.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Inventory control and cycle counting of products.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Warehouse and Shipping Operations and Procedures in a manufacturing environment (preferably in Food manufacturing)
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business Management, Operations Management and/or 5 – 8 years in a similar role.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
