NAS JAX FLEET READINESS CENTER (FRCSE)

Job Description: Assist the Project Manager in managing the Federal Contract in a profitable and high-quality manner. Assist with all aspects of day-to-day operations at the FRCSE job site located onboard Naval Air Station Jacksonville. Develop a lasting working relationship with the FRCSE/NAVFAC staff. Meet all Janitorial and Grounds Maintenance requirements of the Contract Statement of Work (SOW).

Responsibilities and duties of this position include:

  • Knowledgeable of Challenge Enterprises Mission Statement.
  • Assist your Project Manager (PM) with operating the project efficiently in a cost-effective manner.
  • Provide quality customer service.
  • Enforce all requirements identified in the customer Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude towards position, peers, supervisors, and front-line employees.
  • Assist with developing efficient work schedules for all employees assigned to the project.
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections via Spartan CompuClean program for monthly downloading for the Contracts Administrate Assistance for distribution to NAVFAC COR.
  • Review and maintain timekeeping, vacation, and sick time in the agency MITC system as directed.
  • Advise and assist the PM with maintaining a 75% or above Ratio Rate for direct labor.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of maintaining inventory cleaning plates and cleaning levels (COL) for both janitorial and ground maintenance.
  • Must complete Individual Eligibility Evaluations required by the AbilityOne Commission.
  • Track, review, and monitor posted vacation, PTO, and sick time reports for scheduling of personnel.
  • Notify your PM of needed time off and scheduled vacation.
  • Ensure that all employees have uniforms that are neat and clean.
  • Assist with ordering supplies and equipment from the approved list of vendors and process completed purchase order forms with signature and date.
  • Follow all agency policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmental disabilities and at least one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities in the same field
  • Must be able to pass a Level II, Federal and Local Background check.
  • Must have a clean 3-year MVR.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Word.
  • Must have at least 5 years of Janitorial and contract experience.
  • Knowledge of the contracts and monitoring guidelines
  • Must possess good people skills.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors year-round.
  • Must be able to twist, stoop, bend, reach, pull, stand, and walk for up to eight hours a day.
