The following is a summary of the goals & responsibilities of each manager at Valvoline Express Care. Simply put, every manager’s three primary goals are exactly the same as our corporate goals:

The following job duties and responsibilities are therefore designed to guide our managers and teams towards our shared service goals, as well as to ensure the training, professional growth and well-being of our employees, and to promote the long-term business interests of the Company.

Assistant Store Manager – Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*

  • Support responsibilities and goals of Store Manager and Company.
  • Interact in a friendly and professional manner with customers, co-workers, and managers.
  • Supervise employees in Store Manager’s absence for short periods of time.
  • Open and close your store and make nightly bank deposits.
  • Help train your team in all aspects of customer service and operational procedures.
  • Maintain a neat, clean & attractive store and parking area, and look after tools and equipment.
  • Operate point of sale system and look up information for service applications.
  • Assist with inventory and stock shelves with new inventory, and keep inventory organized.
  • Be able to perform all duties of team members, particularly Hood Tech/Customer Service Advisor.
  • Greet customers and perform service reviews and be able to explain all services & products.
  • Perform multi-point inspection on every vehicle and inform & advise on maintenance needs.
  • Perform certain of the services and repairs offered in our facilities.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, guidelines, and safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
