General Summary of Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service. Performs sales and merchandising related tasks essential to stores operations. Performs management responsibilities specifically delegated by the store manager.

Specific Job Responsibilities (essential functions)

• Represent Petro Serve USA and promote company values and goals
• Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures
• Perform all sales associate duties
• Assume daily operational responsibility for store in the absence of the store manager
• Assist store manager in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training and supervising of all personnel
• Promote a friendly, enthusiastic relationship between store employees and customers
• Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers
• Share responsibility with store manager for the profitable operation of the store
• Assist with merchandising and safeguarding store inventory
• Assist with promotion of store sales and utilize up-selling techniques as directed by manager
• Accurately record all markups and markdowns, store use of merchandise, voids, and bad-merchandise write-offs, within established guidelines
• Assure store premises, interior and exterior, are maintained in a clean and attractive manner
• Keep coolers, store shelves, and display units fully stocked and fronted at all times
• Properly clean and maintain equipment and ready high-margin products such as coffee, fountain drinks, etc., as directed by store manager
• Assists the store manager with the daily store inspection
• Complete all required reports in an accurate and timely manner and send to office daily
• Notify store manager of all sales, cash, or operating discrepancies
• Communicate issues & concerns with store manager
• Communicate expectations to shift daily
• Respond promptly to supervisor’s guidance regarding store operation and the implementation of suggestions and/or merchandise promotions
• Maintain awareness of competitive market conditions and pricing and report findings to your supervisor
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
