Job Summary:
- Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department (ED)
- Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff.
- Implements directions from physicians and nursing staff.
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge.
- Participates in quality improvement activities.
- Demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing systems.
- Demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work habits.
- Treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Medical Terminology is a plus
- Current BLS certification
