We are looking for individuals who can use their creativity in the classroom and leadership outside of it. The ideal candidate should be patient, courteous, and professional with children, parents and co-workers. Position's responsibilities include: Maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment. Leading in planning and implementing project-based lesson plans that match student’s development needs and interests. Interacting with staff to create a happy work environment where children play, explore, and learn. Establishing positive communications with the parents. Performing observations to be documented in each staff member's file as needed. Adhering to Goddard's Quality Assurance standards. Building teamwork. This Director must meet the following qualifications:
Previous management experience in a licensed childcare facility or experience managing faculty members or staff;

The ability to provide effective training to faculty members in performing their responsibilities and complying with all applicable laws, regulations and Goddard Systems, Inc. (GSI) standards;

To understand and comply with the franchisee’s employment policies;

Communicate effectively and professionally with school personnel, children and parents;

Handle crisis situations, including assisting in evacuating the building during emergencies;

Comply in all respects with all applicable laws and regulations relating to childcare.

Educational Qualifications

All candidates who wish to be considered for the position of education director must meet one or more of the following criteria and any and all requirements that may be mandated by their state and/or local licensing authorities:

A bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education, elementary education or child development and management experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool;
