Assembly Technician - Piping Equipment Job at Meter Engineers Inc.
Job Summary: Perform safe and effective assembly functions for oil & gas equipment, delivering quality products to our customer.
Job Details:
- On the job training assembling products as instructed by Management.
- Ensure a quality product by using tools in proper manner.
- Work as a team member for the assigned product line by effectively communicating production needs and helping teammates to reach daily production goals.
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Be flexible in job assignment and learn new skills so each employee can move to areas as assigned to complete assigned tasks.
- Assemble products within quality standards at all times.
- Quarterly performance review for possible wage increase for the first year.

Job Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn to assemble product in an effective manner in order to meet production goals
- Ability to communicate with leaders and teammates in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Focused effort to produce quality products in repetition.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Must have a High School Diploma, or GED.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Job Requirements:
Physical:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. minimum
- Standing on concrete floor for 8+ hours per day.
- Must be able to wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses and other PPE equipment as required for work function.
- Ability to safely reach, stretch, bend and lift parts and product from a standing position.
- Ability to work with various hand tools requiring hand strength and flexibility including but not limited to hammers, drills, screw drivers and torque wrenches.
- Tools / Equipment: Powered and hand tools to perform the function of product assembly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
