JOB DESCRIPTION: VARIOUS: We currently have openings in administration, art fitting, shipping, and picture frame assembly.

The primary function of these positions:

Administration: Order processing, printing, distribution, customer care, and problem resolution are some of the varied tasks required daily in this dynamic department.

Art Fitting: To assemble picture frame components per ordered product type and customer instructions. The artwork must adhere to quality and production standards, and be completed within targeted due dates. Other duties include putting together paperwork with art to pass to other production departments.

Shipping: Properly package artwork for shipping per designated packaging requirements that are unique to each of our independent partners.

Frame Assembly: The chop and join department operates double miter saws and under pinners to precisely cut and join moulding in the construction of picture frames.

The successful colleague demonstrates a customer-first attitude, lives the company’s Mission and Values, and contributes to a cooperative and positive work environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
 Review components for accuracy and special instructions prior to assembly
 Assemble frame components into quality finished product
 Review product and paper for accurate customer paperwork before transfer to next production step
 Input component completion in production tracking system
 Meet/exceed established production/accuracy rates
 Communicate any production issues to Fitting Lead, Facilitator, or Manager
 Maintain clean and organized workstation and assembly area
 Participate in department meetings, contributing when necessary
 Operate industry related equipment producing orders to customer specifications
 Follow all safety guidelines at all times
 Maintain regular and punctual attendance

SKILLS

 Work well in fast paced, deadline-oriented production environment
 Able to work independently or in collaboration with others
 Embrace change and willing to take on new responsibilities
 Ability to use tape measure and work with fractions

WORKPLACE SAFETY AND EXPOSURES

 Requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting, including repetitive hand and wrist motion
 Requires occasional ability to safely lift item weighing up to 50 pounds
 Requires exposure to wood dust and adhesive agents
 Requires operation of sharp and potentially hazardous equipment and/or hand tools
 Requires adherence to safety procedures and use of safety equipment to minimize risk and exposure

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.25/H and up dependent on previous experience
