ServiceMaster is looking for a Greensboro Area Manager to manage housekeepers and supervisors in the Greensboro area. This person will be responsible for overseeing multiple accounts in the Greensboro area. Prior janitorial experience is a must.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
-Train employees in their job according to company standards using detailed task schedule for specific accounts in which they will work as well as instruction on proper cleaning techniques and chemical usage.
-Ensure that work, tasks, and projects in each account are performed as per the task schedule and are completed to meet or exceed customer expectations.
-Be willing to assist in performing cleaning tasks as needed when short-staffed or other circumstances arise.
-Ensure that all accounts and employees in each account have the proper supplies and equipment for accomplishing the tasks required.
-Maintain all assigned accounts within budgetary constraints (i.e., labor, supplies and equipment).
-Ensure that all equipment, supplies, vehicles and products entrusted in your care are carefully handled and maintained and that any equipment malfunction is promptly corrected.
-Establish a positive relationship with customers and maintain proper customer contact in accordance with agreed upon Quality Control Program.
-Demonstrate to all customers a sincere concern and interest in responding to and handling their requests, complaints, and other issues. Handle customer complaints and requests effectively within 24 hours.
-Follow up with customers after complaints/requests to ensure complete satisfaction.
-Review, authorize, and submit necessary timekeeping and schedule information for payroll. Provide accurate and timely employee paperwork according to company standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage shift supervisors ,Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned accounts. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including: training shift supervisors and employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and performing cleaning tasks and projects as needed.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, internet software and Email.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 2-4 years related experience.
