Anglican Studies and Formation Support Staff Job at Asbury Theological Seminary
Position Summary: This person will provide regular, weekly administrative and office assistance to the co-directors of the department Anglican Formation. Responsibilities include tasks related to the logistics of Anglican Formation, maintenance of Anglican and liturgical focused students and community members. General office duties include: messaging, filing, copying, scanning, SPO runs, research, data entry, and help with projects as assigned. The schedule will vary according to the week and activities that are planned.
Essential Functions: Responsibilities include assisting with creating and hosting our regularly sponsored formation practices such as Morning and Evening Prayer, Anglican events. coordinating monthly teaching and fellowship gatherings, recruiting students for our Anglican Studies specializations in the M.Div. and M.A.T.S. and our certificate in Anglican Studies, and regular communication with Anglican and Episcopalian students, staff, faculty, and area clergy.
Other Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned by the co-directors of Anglican Formation
Education/Certification/Training/Experience: A bachelor's degree is required. Current or prior attendance in an Anglican or Episcopal church is preferred. Students who are interested in ordination in the Anglican Communion are especially encouraged to apply.
