The expected ENTRY pay range for this position based on experience and equity within the Judicial Branch is $26.40 to $27.99.
This position is non-exempt under the FLSA.
This position may allow for some teleworking after 6 months.
This position is grant funded.

The AmeriCorps Program Coordinator manages the PACS/AmeriCorps program for the Law Library Resource Center. The successful candidate thrives on the recruitment, outreach, training, coordination of activities, and enjoys the challenge of managing a program.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
- High School Diploma
Experience:
- Five (5) years of professional-level experience working with volunteers or coordinating volunteer activities
OR
Combined education and experience qualifications:
- An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and job-related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
Other Requirements:
- Must have or obtain a valid Arizona Driver License by time of hire.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Knowledge of:
- Customer service standards and procedures
- Effective techniques for working with a diverse group of individuals
- Grant writing
Skill in:
- Effectively and professionally communicating verbally and in writing to convey information appropriately based on audience
- Utilizing database systems, timekeeping, scheduling, Microsoft Office Suite, multi-line telephone systems, and copy machines
- Critical thinking and evaluating information to determine the best solution
Ability to:
- Perform work tasks with attention to detail
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Make sound decisions in accordance with regulations, policies and procedures
- Ability to prioritize tasks and re-prioritize tasks based on importance and time sensitivity
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS
(This is not an all-inclusive list of all job duties that may be required; employees will be required to perform other related duties as assigned.)
- Coordinates plans, develops, implements, and monitors all volunteer and AmeriCorps Program activities
- Manages AmeriCorps members including recruitment, interviewing, selection, onboarding, orienting and ongoing training for up to 50 members
- Manages volunteer management database, timekeeping system, and scheduling software
- Monitors volunteer performance measurements and compliance
- Oversees the AmeriCorps program to include collecting and analyzing data, submitting grant reports, file management, budget management, maintaining and developing host site relationships, and maintaining successful partnerships
- Conducts and plans AmeriCorps Service Day events.
- Represents the Law Library Resource Center and PACS/AmeriCorps program at networking events to identify and cultivate prospective volunteers
- Performs other duties and/or small projects as directed by the PACS/AmeriCorps Program Director, Manger, or Supervisor
- Participates in scheduled staff meetings
Working conditions
:
Some evening and weekend availability required. Required to travel to other Superior Court locations within Maricopa County. Required to travel and attend AmeriCorps events and actively collaborate with stakeholders at various locations.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak clearly and hear; see details of objects that are less than a few feet away; sit for long periods of time; stand, walk, use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and occasionally push, pull or lift up to 20 pounds.
