Job objective: Provide prompt and courteous service to customers in order to maximize sales and customer service, to promote the company’s image of quality and professionalism Status: Reports directly to the store manager and management team Job duties: practices professional salesmanship according to company policies and procedures in order to achieve maximum personal and store sales and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction Adheres to all loss prevention policies, credit policies and procedures (ie credit cards, discounts, return & exchange procedures ) Ensures that all merchandise is properly ticketed and attractively displayed and maintains their own responsibility of store in accordance with company standards Promotes total customer service in a friendly way Ensures special orders are handled efficiently Operate POS to complete transactions including sales, returns, online orders in store, and exchanges. Performs other duties as assigned (ie shipping and receiving of merchandise , verification of merchandise etc) Complies with all company policies and procedures Maintains cleanliness of store fixtures as assigned (dusting & cleaning windows , walls, sweeping, mopping, etc) Achieves and exceeds individual sales goals and KPIs Maintains visual merchandising in specific assigned zone on sales floor by manager on duty for duration of shift Performs tasks as assigned (filling and securing accessory merchandise, properly ticketing merchandise as per company standards , filling shoecare, facing demos) Greeting the customer promptly as they enter the store , informing customers about loyalty program , responsible for retaining product knowledge and communicating it with the customer, opening the dialogue with the customer; leading the sale, deepening the brand loyalty through thoughtful conversation and listening to the needs of the customer Offering alternative options if customers desired item is not in stock (example: suggesting an order in store option OR putting reservation requests through to other locations on behalf of the customer — bringing out similar styles or similar sizes in the same style including terry insoles Bringing 2 or more shoes to the bench even if they don’t have you scan more than one shoe. to delight the customer and give them an exceptional shipping experience Responsible for capturing the customer's email for their receipt at POS — and —-if they had a pleasant shopping experience, encourage them to fill out the survey that was emailed to them —-to drive store VOC score Serving numerous customers at one time at peak times to provide urgent assistance to meet and exceed customer’s expectations and store sales goals
