Job Summary
This position manages Benton County Natural Areas, Parks & Events facility rentals, Benton Oaks RV Park, Salmonberry Campground, and assists in organizing the annual Benton County Fair & Rodeo. Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises office staff in the administrative operations of NAPE. Serves as Project Manager on relevant projects. Oversees Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable. Collaborates with Department Director and Deputy Director to establish and review department policies. Establishes short- and long-term plans/projects for management of the Benton County Event Center & Fairgrounds and provides recommendations to Department Director.

- Annual salary range of:
- $62,382 - $93,565.
- This position is eligible for up to two salary raises within your first year. Increases may be given at the end of the 6 month probationary period, depending on starting salary and at the 1 year anniversary, as long as your performance is in good standing! Increases are given until the maximum of the salary range is reached.
- For most employees who take advantage of health benefits the salary only makes up 60% of their total compensation. The County invests in you and your family!

Minimum Qualifications
The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to area of assignment; and
- 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in area of assignment, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience.

- Evening and weekend work may occasionally be required, especially during the Benton County Fair & Rodeo.
