Sentry Management, Inc., a leader in the Community Association Management Industry has an opening for a Administrative Assistant in our Corporate Office located in Longwood, Florida. (Orlando area)
The Central Services Associate is responsible for providing support for all Sentry employees by completing the department’s daily functions. Duties will vary from preparing meeting notice mailings, incoming/outgoing shipping and USPS mail processing, copy/postage/fax machine use, report processing, record maintenance, general office work and customer service. The Central Services Associate shall maintain policies, standards, and practices and ensure adherence to Sentry’s Goals, Value and Service Standard of our Foundation Principles.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Community Managers with association mailings
- Create, maintain, and enter information into databases
- Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing
- Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, mail system, copiers, or phone systems
- Set up and manage paper and electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining
documents, such as correspondence, or other material - Complete forms in accordance with company procedures
- Conduct searches to find needed information using such sources as the Internet
- Make copies of correspondence or other printed material
- Learn to operate new office technologies as they are developed and implemented
- Ensure that legal requirements are being met, such as State Statues and Governing Document
- All other duties as assigned
CENTRAL SERVICES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compose, type and process meeting notice and general mailing materials.
- Outgoing shipping/mail preparation; copy, label, fold, stuff and posting
- Incoming shipping/mail distribution
- Reception desk coverage
- Provide services to customers, such as accepting checks and providing receipts
- Run Monthly Reports
- Manage incoming communication ques (telephone calls, emails, mail) and efficiently respond to and service
- Assist other Team Members when needed
TECHNICAL ACCESS REQUIREMENT:
- Computer support

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit for up to eight (8) hours per day
- Ability to operate a personal computer and basic office equipment
- Ability to talk regularly over the phone with customers and co-workers as required
- Ability to safely lift at least 25 lbs.
