Administrative Assistant

This is a part-time administrative assistant position in Virginia Beach, VA. You will be working for the President of a leading, dynamic software company to support his calendar, events, and activities, approximately 20-30 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

· Coordinate and schedule meetings and maintain MS Outlook calendar

· Complete expense reports

· Coordinate and schedule travel, events, and activities

· Coordinate vendor requests

· Organize paperwork/mail

· Complete paperwork and documentation including filing, records, and reports

· Regularly communicate with President on high priority activities

· Complete projects on behalf of President

Qualifications:

· 5+ years’ experience as a personal or administrative assistant

· Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows Outlook, Teams/Zoom, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

· Organized, Flexible, Adaptable Proactive Self-Starter requiring minimal hands-on management

· Detail-oriented with impeccable follow-through

· Creative, out of the box thinker - able to anticipate the needs of Management and offer solutions before they are anticipated

· Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

· Great communication skills composing professional emails, messages, in-person meetings, and phone calls

· Positive attitude with strong relationship skills

· Works well in a demanding and fast-paced environment

· Superior work ethic with impeccable attendance and punctuality

· Extremely discreet and sensitive with confidential information

· Able to prioritize tasks effectively

· Consistently execute tasks with a high level of accuracy and quality

· Must have reliable transportation

· Desirable: DoD/Military experience

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
