Senior Living Recruiting Specialist Burr Ridge, IL

Activities assistants collaborate with Activities Director to schedule, plan and produce events for the residents. They're also responsible for implementing activities that offer different types of stimulation, including those that offer opportunities for mental, physical, social and emotional growth and enjoyment.

Other specific duties of an activities assistant may include:

  • Creating an event schedule
  • Administering surveys to learn about what events might be popular in the future
  • Collecting feedback from participants about events in the past
  • Training and managing other event team members or event volunteers
  • Developing and following an event budget
  • Creating inclusion plans for participants with special needs
  • Advertising events
  • Coordinating transportation to and from events
  • Attending events to support event leaders and observe participant satisfaction
  • Creating safety protocols for events

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.11 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Burr Ridge, IL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
