Maschmeyer Concrete Company is seeking a highly-motivated and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Lake Park, Florida.

Prior experience in the ready-mix concrete and/or construction industry is preferred.

Accounts Receivable Specialist Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 3-5 years of Accounts Receivable and Collections experience in a business-to-business environment.
• Construction industry experience is preferred.
• Must have working knowledge of Florida Mechanics Lien Law.
• Proficiency with MS office products: Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Must have exceptional customer service and communication skills both verbal and written.
• Must be able to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency.

Accounts Receivable Specialist Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the efficient collection of past due accounts.
• Assist in controlling and collecting payments from customers, ensuring that the organization receives accurate payment in a timely manner.
• Post cash, including reconciliation of A/R accounts, cash receipts and customer deductions.
• Responsible for accurate and timely Notice to Owner data entry, ensuring that NTOs are processed within the Florida Lien Law guidelines.
• Issue Releases of Lien in an expedient manner.
• Gather and enter credit data for new customers and/or projects.
• Responsible for the customer billing process and review to ensure that customers are billed correctly and no discrepancies exist.
• Work closely with sales and customer service, respond to both internal & external customer requests and handle dispute resolution with customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Credit Manager.
