Job Summary: Accounts Payable Specialist
The Accounts Payable Specialist will process AP transactions using both our Dynamics GP 2018 ERP system as well as the Circulus Accounts Payable automation system. The Accounts Payable Specialist will frequently interact with vendors, internal employees, and others in carrying out their duties. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that business finances are accurate and up to date. This is a hybrid position with days in the Malvern office and remote.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verify approval on all invoices and check requests including documentation
  • Verify transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
  • Data enter invoices from PO and non-PO for payment
  • Manage unpaid, entered invoice file
  • Prepare vendor checks for mailing and inform vendors for urgent payments
  • Enter credits for RMAs
  • Answer all vendor inquiries
  • Maintain Priority AP List
  • Continuing to improve the payment process
  • Enter employee reimbursable expense reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience and/or Education

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or relevant certification is preferred
  • Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Payable Clerk
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • MS Office Suite experience with skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Accuracy and attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Aptitude for numbers
  • Great Plains experience a must
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must
  • Possesses ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently
  • Ability to prioritize and possess excellent problem-solving skills
