This position is responsible for monitoring, reporting, and driving financial performance and compliance of critical components of Truepill’s pharmacy business. Duties of this position include monitoring fiscal performance, budget and contract management, budget preparation, invoicing, and financial reporting. Responsible for business performance in drug product contracting, payer contracting, 340B program optimization, and pharmacy IS and other vendor contract management. This position will be responsible for auditing invoices and accounts to confirm contract terms are adhered to by payers, wholesalers, and other vendors while working with clinical and non-clinical staff members to optimize operational and cost efficiencies wherever possible. The ideal candidate will possess thorough knowledge of the regulatory environment as it relates to health care reimbursement compliance and contract management. Requires discretion and judgment to organize priorities, complete tasks and handle confidential information.

You’re excited about this opportunity because…
- Support creation of annual operating budgets
- Analyze actual performance vs budget and manage periodic reporting to leadership team
- Analyzes, monitors, and reports on financial performance both internal to Truepill and within the Covered Entity (CE) partners
- Manages onsite pharmacy cost centers and prepares monthly reports of budget variances, month-end close, and compiles income statements
- Maintains the charge master Operationalizes administration of the CE’s sliding fee scale and works out the flow of funds with the CE
- Reviews contracts negotiated with the onsite pharmacy leads
- Manages and supports contracting efforts across all pharmacy service lines, including, but not limited to, third party payers, wholesalers, IS services vendors, and 340B contract pharmacies.
Auditing and Accounting
- Directly oversees the onsite pharmacy charges and revenue and ensures they are properly recorded as a part of the month-end close process.
- Monitors, tracks, and presents on all financial activities and performance of all service lines and ensures entries are made to reflect this activity as a part of the month-end close process.
- Records accruals as necessary.
- Partners with the A/R team to oversee the invoicing and appropriate assignment to cost centers
- Performs trend analysis and other business performance reviews
- Supports the identification, evaluation, and implementation of strategies to manage drug spend as well as evaluating economics for any new programs and services proposed
- Provides oversight of compliance to accepted standards of receipt and accounting for products
We’re excited about you because…
- Bachelor's degree in an accounting related field or commensurate experience required
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience and 4+ years of general accounting experience required
- Experience in healthcare industry preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- CPA achieved or working towards a CPA is preferred
Salary Range: $80,000 to $100,000 Per Year
