Bilingual (Japanese & English) Sales Account Manager

Note: This is NOT a remote position.

Our client is a successful large-sized international manufacturing company in the automotive industry. We are currently looking for a sales manager or a sales rep who is fluent in Japanese and English for our client in Indiana.

Some of the minimum qualification requirements:

• Fluent in Japanese and English.
• Able to travel for business and work overtime as needed. (Most of their customers are in Indiana or somewhere in the Midwest region. So, you can visit a customer and come back on the same day. It's roughly about just 3 times a month.)
• Previous sales and/or sales support experience in a manufacturing company. If you have worked in the automotive sector, that's a huge plus.
• Able to use MS Excel and PowerPoint in Japanese and English.
• Project Manager exp preferred, but not required.
• Authorized to work in the US permanently without a visa sponsorship.
• Able to start in 2 weeks if you receive a job offer.
• A valid US driver's license and a car. (Please note that there is no public transportation near the facilities.)

Some of the main roles:

• Take care of customers’ requests, using Japanese and English language skills.
• Issue purchase orders.
• Resolve customer complains in Japanese and English.
• Resolve shipping, inventory, logistics and quality issues.
• Maintain great business relationships with existing customers in the automotive industry, using Japanese and English language skills.
• Develop new business relationships with prospective customers when necessary.
• Visit customers roughly about 3 times a month. You can usually travel by car and come back on the same day.
• Obtain the future minor and major model change info in the automotive industry, so as to obtain new businesses in the future.
• Update a customer list in the company’s database.
• Other tasks will be assigned as needed.

Compensation: $70,000 to $100,000/yr

FLSA: Exempt
