Summary

The Inside Account Manager- Regional is responsible for driving growth and maintaining current customer accounts. This individual is also expected to identify opportunities and follow up accordingly with a sense of urgency. This position is perfect for an individual who shows initiative and has a passion for customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth through new and existing customers and distributors.
  • Follow-up on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL’s) from Inside Sales Team.
  • Proactively call assigned distribution branches for quotes, project follow-up, probing for new share gain opportunities.
  • Quote Follow-Up: build relationships with distributors and customers to push quotes through to wins.
  • Provide exceptional service to existing accounts (deviated pricing requests, new product applications, etc.)
  • Post-Sales Support
    • Coordinate joint calls if unable to resolve issues first over the phone/by e-mail.
    • Provide key contacts (e.g. Customer Service, Field Sales Engineer.)
    • Follow-up to identify additional opportunities.

Representative Decisions

  • Identification of proper routings of new leads (via direct sales, Inside sales or distribution)
  • Diagnosis of customer pain and appropriate solution recommendations

Expected Outcomes

  • Increased sales via established distributor branches.
  • Increased conversion rates on quoted opportunities in territory
  • Strong distributor relationships with current contact and quote activity loaded in SFDC

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business and 5 years Inside Sales and/or Customer Service related experience or 10+ years of Insides Sales and/or Customer Service related experience
  • Competency in asking probing questions and interpreting the responses to understand true customer needs.
  • Good organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to analyze data, form strategic plans and execute at the tactical level
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work with different cultures
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment to improve the service levels to customers.
