Who We Are
The College Internship Program (CIP) is a private young adult transition program for individuals 18-26 years old with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences offering comprehensive and specialized services.


CIP’s programs uniquely address the needs of young adults with learning differences by focusing on the generalization of skills while living within a community of peers in a supported apartment living environment. Each student’s unique needs are met individually as they transition to independent living, college, and employment.


CIP is one of the most comprehensive programs in the world empowering young adults with learning differences to succeed in college, employment, and independent living. We strive to challenge the norms of what people with learning differences can achieve.

What you’ll do
  • Support students in achieving plans related to academic goals, majors, and degree paths
  • Assist students in navigating and accessing educational institution’s services and accommodations
  • Coach students in the practice of executive functions for managing and completing coursework
  • Communicate student academic progress to Academic Coordinator and/or Assistant Program Director
  • Teach related skills that will facilitate overall success in higher education through individual and group sessions

What you've accomplished
  • Associate’s degree (or in pursuit of) from an accredited institution in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 1+ years related experience or training, particularly in higher education
  • Education or training in educational approaches, methods, and supports for persons with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other learning differences
