Notice to All Customers


The Bank of Montserrat Limited requires the assistance of ALL customers in updating their account information in an effort to comply with Correspondent Banking and Regulatory requirements.  All customers of the Bank are required to ensure that their account information is up to date by the 31st March, 2019.

Customers who fail to update their information will experience difficulty in accessing their accounts, as the accounts may be temporarily inaccessible due to non-compliance.


Personal account holders should provide:

  • Proof of Identity – two valid picture identification 1) Passport and 2) Social Security card/ Driver’s Licence / National ID card
  • Proof of Residential Address – recent utility bill or bank statement (No older than 3 months)/ rental agreement signed off by Landlord
  • Proof of Income – Job letter (no older than 3 months)


Corporate account holders should provide:

  • Certificate of Incorporation and any name change Certificates
  • Memorandum and Articles of Association and or Constitution or equivalent
  • Proof of Identity for the Shareholders of the company
  • Proof of Identity for each of the beneficial owners of the company who hold an interest of 10%
  • Proof of Identity for persons who are authorized to transact business on the account
  • Proof of Identity for each of the Directors and signatories of the company
  • Financial Statements for the company for the last three (3) years
  • Certificate of good standing
